Living Concepts is your complete interior design Service, and we are happy to handle any size project. Many of our projects incorporate only part of our services, the choice is yours, you can select the services you need to achieve the result you desire. We will work within your time frame as well as your budget and guide you through every step of the design process, ensuring that proper choices are made and that your project and investment are professionally managed.

Fee Schedule and Options

Initial Consultation

We believe quality design is a good investment. Along with increasing the value of your property, a carefully planned interior brings you both aesthetic and functional benefits that will enhance your lifestyle.

We offer an in-home consultation which covers the following:

  • Review existing interior plan
  • Discuss your expectations, scheduling, budget goals
  • Provide immediate suggestions / ideas for meeting your goals
  • Provide sources to help establish an aesthetic that is reflective of your home & lifestyle
  • Provide direction on paint colours, fabric, furniture, accessories, window treatments, lighting and art placement.
  • As well as guidance as it relates to all renovations including full kitchens and bathrooms

Our Initial Design Consultation Fee is a pre-payment of $150.00 (Minimum Charge/ Maximum two hour appointment, travel time extra if outside of city limits)

Conceptual Development - $75 per hour


We will develop a concept for your space. "Concept" refers to the creative process of developing your style or atmosphere for your space. We carefully consider:

  • Function - the practical use of your space. What will you be using this space for?
  • Proportion and Scale - the size of the furniture in the room in proportion to the size of the room. For example, when you have oversized furniture for a relatively small room, your room will feel even smaller than it actually is.
  • Balance - Are there elements in your space that may visually weigh the room down?
  • Diversity - Give your space enough variety to keep your room interesting.

CUSTOM FURNITURE AND CABINETRY
(QUOTE PER PROJECT)

Did you know that we are able to design your custom furniture and/or cabinets?

We work closely with manufacturers (a cabinetry or upholstery shop) who then build/construct the item per our specifications. Furniture designs, kitchen and baths and lighting designs). You may request a custom made piece of furniture and we can advise you on style, colour, etc.

SPACE PLANNING/ PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS

AUTOCAD- 2D / CHIEF ARCHITECT- 3D

$ 2.50/SQ FT- Living Rm/office/family Rm/bedrooms

$ 5.00/SQ. FT. - Kitchen & Baths

  • Starts with a precise site measure of the space.
  • You'll receive a room arrangement recommendation to create balance and flow in the room while emphasizing the room's purpose and function.
  • You'll receive prepared floor plans, elevations and any other technical drawings.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT/COMMERCIAL

10 % of total Budget with a signed service agreement

Project Management between clients and project team (subcontractors, architects, plumbers, etc...). We can manage bids from contractors to ensure you receive the best quality for the price. We make sure the design (for built-ins, installations, etc.) is implemented and delivered by the contractors/vendors per our specifications and on schedule.

(Flat Fees are available for projects and can be quoted at the conclusion of the consultation once the scope of the project is discussed.)
